Attorney-Partner Catalina Rodas is a legal champion for people who have been abused, ignored, or pushed aside by powerful defendants and corporations. As an immigrant, she understands firsthand what it means to move through legal systems that can feel stacked against you, and she has built her career on leveling that playing field for others. Whether taking on negligent landlords, confronting corporate misconduct, or handling complex civil litigation, Catalina approaches every case with relentless preparation and unwavering determination.
A graduate of Southwestern Law School, she was a member of the Moot Court program and earned the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles’s Student Leader Award for her work with domestic violence survivors. She is also a graduate of the Trial Lawyers’ College, where she trained alongside some of the nation’s most accomplished trial attorneys.
Catalina focuses her practice on housing rights, toxic torts, and civil litigation, and she has helped recover more than $75 million on behalf of tenants who otherwise would have had nowhere to turn. She has played a meaningful role in elevating how habitability cases are valued, pushing for full recognition of the physical, emotional, and financial toll that substandard housing takes on families and children. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, Catalina can not only represent her clients but also truly hear and respect them. Her leadership extends beyond the courtroom because she serves on the Board of Directors of the Consumer Attorneys of California and is Secretary of its Women’s Caucus, and she remains active in both CAALA and the Women Lawyers’ Association of Los Angeles.
