Grant Riley is a sophisticated, proactive, and aggressive attorney with 35 years of in-the-trenches experience litigating complex, big-money disputes.  Grant has an AV-Preeminent (it’s highest rating) rating from Martindale-Hubble and has been voted a “Super Lawyer” for 15 years straight by the Los Angeles legal community.  Grant graduated from the University of California at Davis in 1979 and Southwestern University School of Law in 1984.

Prior to forming Riley | Ersoff LLP, Grant was a partner at three of the most prestigious firms in Los Angeles: Christensen White Miller Fink & Jacobs (now Glaser Weil), Liner Yankelevitz Weinhart Riley & Regenstreif (now DLA Piper), and Frandzel Share Robins & Csato where he was Managing Partner.  Grant has litigated disputes in multiple states including California, Ohio, Florida, Texas, and New York.

After 25 years of litigating and resolving multi-million dollar disputes on behalf of public companies, Hollywood studios, national banks, and real estate developers, Grant decided it was time to pay it back and pay it forward.  No more protecting those with more money than they know what to do with.  No more working for millionaires who never take the time to think of those less fortunate of themselves.  It was time to give back.

In 2009, Grant formed his own firm with only one goal in mind – to help residential tenants and others who were being abused, injured, or ignored by landlords, greedy corporations, and uncaring insurance companies.  There has been no looking back.

Grant is every landlord’s worst nightmare.  He has prosecuted hundreds of slum housing, lead poisoning, carbon monoxide poisoning cases and other complex personal injury cases against greedy slumlords and their insurers.  Grant, his partner Victoria Ersoff, and his team of lawyers at Riley | Ersoff LLP are responsible for collecting more than $100,000,000 on behalf of hundreds of low income, immigrant, inner-city tenants and others who had no other options and nowhere else to go.

If you’ve been harmed, injured, abused or ignored by a landlord, a greedy corporation, or their insurance company, call us.  We’ve got the smarts, the experience, and the drive to help you get exactly what you deserve – justice.
